ABOUT ME
I am a filmmaker and editor living and working in Vancouver, BC. I hold a B.A. (Hons with Distinction), and an M.A. in English Lit and Film Studies from the University of Victoria, as well as a Post-Degree Diploma in Film Production from the University of British Columbia.
I have been editing for a decade; primarily with Premiere Pro, but I am also proficient with Final Cut and AVID Media Composer. I have cut everything from short films to corporate testimonials to webseries. I was the co-editor of the award-winning feature The Dick Knost Show, directed by Bruce Sweeney. I am also an experienced animation editor.
My interest and focus is on narrative – fiction and non-fiction – and I emphasize the fundamental importance good story structure plays in the success of any project.
